Build the layer the AI era is missing.
GPUVerse is early and founder-led. We are not hiring for headcount, we hire when a specific problem needs a specific person. This page tells you exactly what working here means, so you can decide before you write to us.
Why build here
The problem is unsolved, not underserved
Nobody has built the layer that reasons across every cloud. There is no incumbent playbook to copy, the architecture, the models, and the category itself are still being written.
You will own outcomes, not tickets
Small teams mean wide surface area. You will pick up problems nobody assigned you, and the decisions you make will still be load-bearing years from now.
The work compounds
Every deployment teaches the platform something about performance, cost, and failure. Systems you build early become the foundation everything after them stands on.
How we work
Working agreements, not perks.
We would rather be precise about how decisions get made than list benefits everyone lists. These are the commitments you can hold us to on day one.
Documentation first
Important decisions exist in writing before they exist in code. Design documents are encouraged; Architecture Decision Records are expected. Knowledge never depends on memory.
Remote by design, async by default
We optimize for deep work across timezones. Written context beats a meeting; a meeting beats a misunderstanding. Nobody is judged on hours visible in a chat window.
Quality over speed
Moving quickly matters. Moving carelessly does not. One reliable feature beats three unstable ones, long-term trust outvalues short-term velocity.
Extreme ownership
If you notice a problem, it belongs to all of us. Improve the docs, fix the bug, strengthen the architecture. Leave the codebase better than you found it.
Debate ideas, not people
The best idea wins; titles do not. We support disagreement with evidence, and once a decision is made, everyone commits to executing it.
AI is a partner
We use AI across documentation, development, testing, review, and research. Engineers remain accountable for judgment, correctness, and quality.
What we value
If a decision violates these, we choose the values.

How we hire
Four steps. No trick questions. Your time is respected.
- 01
You write to us
A short note about what you have built and what you want to build next. No cover letter theatre, we would rather read three honest paragraphs than a template.
- 02
A conversation about craft
One call, no whiteboard puzzles. We talk through real systems you have shipped, the tradeoffs you made, and what you would do differently now.
- 03
A real problem, scoped small
A paid, time-boxed piece of work drawn from our actual backlog. You see how we think; we see how you work. Nobody guesses.
- 04
Founder conversation and offer
Values, expectations, ownership, and compensation, discussed openly and in writing before anything is signed.

Don’t see your role? Reach out anyway.
We would rather meet the right person early than post a role we haven’t thought through. If the problems on this page are the ones you want to spend the next few years on, tell us what you would build first.
